Bishop 2015

I was fortunate last month to participate in a landscape photo workshop put on by Mountain Light Gallery in Bishop, California. Jim Stimson and Jerry Dodrill were great workshop leaders and instructors. We were blessed with some great weather that weekend for photography. For a treat while in Bishop it is worth an hour of your time to stop at Mountain Light Gallery to view Galen and Barbara Rowell's work. it is amazing!

Lenticular clouds can be up to 40,000 feet in altitude. They are normally perpendicular to wind direction. They have been mistaken for UFO sightings due to their saucer shape.
