Honey Run Bridge in Butte Canyon
A couple of weeks ago I was able to get to this bridge in Butte Canyon. The last time I was here was last spring when I was giving dad a ride in the country side after getting a milk shake from Big Al's on the Esplanade. As you can see the sky was overcast but there was a fairly good flow of water in the creek. I plan on getting back there this spring for the wild flowers and perhaps to do some light painting at dusk one evening.

Honey Run Bridge is the last covered bridge in the US with three roof lines or levels.
The newer bridge in the background replaced Honey Run Bridge in the 1960's. Only foot traffic is allowed in Honey Run Bridge today.
This photo gives another perspective of the bridge and also an idea of it's length. I really like the colorful wood siding of the bridge.
This 13 second exposure is a bit too long. The highlights are blown out in the water blow the bridge (where the water is white).
