Feather River
Jenny and I returned home from Reno last Sunday by way of the Feather River Canyon on Highway 70. It was a beautiful afternoon for a leisurely ride in our Avalon.

This bridge connects Highway 70 to the small township of Belden on the south side of the Feather River.
This is a photo taken on the Belden Bridge while following the western flow of the Feather River towards Oroville Dam.
This is one several dams built on the Feather River.
I like the steel architecture of these two steel bridges as they span the Feather River for different purposes. The upper one has a Union Pacific logo on it. The lower bridge reminds me of the old Giannella Bridge east of Hamilton City.
I had to scamper down the roadway to get this picture of these contrasting style of bridges.
