Aperture Academy Workshops
This photo is taken from Baker Beach north of the Golden Gate Bridge. I really like the colors and contrast in this picture. I also like capturing the young people on the rocks off to the right of the photo. One can see two fishing poles on the rocks, some aspiring photographers to the left of the poles, and another couple of young people sitting on the rocks above. Fort Point is located beneath the arch structure on the south entrance of the bridge. It was built in the 1860's to protect the bay.
I really like the detail of this photo of the courtyard of Fort Point. There is a photographer from our group using his tripod in the right lower corner of this picture. I believe the small lighthouse at the other end of the fort was probably some of the original equipment here. Notice how the bridge was built to spare Fort Point.
Last shot of the evening of the Golden Gate. The black and white conversion lends a lot of detail for this 30 second exposure.
